Today, we have been celebrating all of the books we have read together this year!
We started by ordering some of the books from our favourite to least favourite. We all had so many different orders!
We then crated our own book review for our favourite books of the year!
We had a fantastic time taking part in our sports day! We showed brilliant teamwork skills and tried our very best in all the activities.
Congratulations red team!
This week, we have enjoyed sharing with our families how we learn our times tables. We looked at arrays, visual representations and bar models to help us!
It was great to have you all back!
Today we went on our visit to Henley-in-Arden. As part of our community pillar, we compared Henley-in-Arden to Hall Green. We walked up the high street, in the park and even enjoyed some ice cream!
Miss Griffiths took us into the church too so we could see a place of worship that we learnt about in our RE lessons.
In English, we are looking at persuasive leaflets. To really understand persuasion we turned our leaflet into a TV advert. In our groups, we tried to persuade people to visit Deep Water Bay using repetition, questions and even special offers!
We have had a fantastic day celebrating the Queen’s platinum Jubilee.
We used the Queen’s profile to make a collage and even took part in creating a money crown!
In the afternoon, we enjoyed our street party where we got to eat food together and sing the national anthem.
We are preparing to write our own finding tale. We have designed and created a new product and a new room in Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. Look at our designs below!
This week, we have explored different sketching techniques to create shape, shadow and lines.
